  • "We have worked with Thomas since 2022 to support both of our children (CO ’23 and CO ’26) with English test preparation as well as college and scholarship application essays. We achieved excellent results for both children. Thomas was consistently patient and encouraging, demonstrated a strong awareness of each student’s individual style and preferences, and provided thoughtful, personalized strategies throughout the process. We would highly recommend Thomas to any family seeking expert, dedicated academic and college application support."

    — Celine Dixon (Class of 2023 and 2026)

  • "The Learning Curve was a great help during college applications. I struggled with the writing section of the SAT, and they helped me boost my reading section score after multiple tests with no improvement. Thomas also helped me take my college applications to the next level. Because of them I got into Georgia Tech, my dream school, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Highly Recommend!"

    — Joseph C. (Class of 2025)

  • "Thomas was so helpful during my application process! He really went above and beyond to ensure I felt good about every decision and jumped in to help me with a very short timeline."

    — Hope Baugher

  • "The Learning Curve took the stress out of the college application process for our family. Their experienced tutors worked with my children to assess their individual needs and develop test-taking strategies to maximize their scores on the SAT and ACT. I highly recommend The Learning Curve to give your kids the skills and the confidence to succeed on those all-important college admission tests."

    — Jo Ann Natt (Lake Norman High; class of 2013 and 2015)

  • "Meeting Roni was a pivotal point in my academic and personal lives. She taught my sister the freedom and opportunity that came with education, and she taught me to use academic excellence not as an end game, but as a stepping-stone to become an independent, confident woman who is able to give back to her community. We worked with Roni for three years, resulting in my acceptances to Emory University, Wake Forest University, and UNC Chapel Hill."
